10 Day You Challenge. {Eight Fears}

*(10) Secrets can be found here!*
*(9) Loves can be found here!*

   Eight Fears

1. Bees. I've never gotten stung and I'd like to keep it that way.

2. Heights. I'm even afraid of the swings at the amusement park. Terrified.

3. Losing someone I love. This is probably my biggest fear, I don't even want to imagine it.

4. Almost every bug out there except for ants, and tiny beetles.

5. Large dogs. When I was younger I was attacked by a rottweiler. I was even afraid of dogs before then and I have no clue why. I'm guessing a dog must've shown me who's boss when I was a wee one.

6. Breakin a bone. I have yet to do that and yet again, Id' like to keep it that way.

7. Scooters. Two years ago in Ocean City, MD at H2o, I fell off a scooter trying to turn a corner like a boss. Scrapped up my elbow pretty bad. Nothing uber serious, but it was embarassing enough to keep me off probably for the rest of my life.

Who knew?
8. Life passing by too quickly. Ever since high school, I feel like life has been one big blur. How am I suddenly 25? How it is almost fall and fair time? Wasn't yesterday just the 4th of July?

Weekend Things.

It has seriously been soooo incredibly nice this entire week. And well last weekend was ahmazing too. Last weekend, boyfriend and I went for a lovely ride to the shore, and this crazy lady right here decided to get off the exit where you can take the steam-train and riverboat tour.

Which we did! I love, love boats and when we jumped aboard I was happier than a pup with a treat. Of course, you think I'd bring my camera. But, no I fail at that. So, I only have these two iPhone pictures from when we took a ride up to Gillette's Castle for lunch.

This weekend we are headed to Boston on Sunday for the day. What are we doing there? The science museum of course!

This is an awesome show!

Boyfriend and I are both super nerdy when it comes to loving on the science museum stuff. Plus, we are going to see.....Tornado Alley in IMAX. Anyone that knows me, knows that I have a serious problem when it comes to severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.

Tornado Alley was produced by Sean Casey, one of the stormchasers from the series Storm Chasers on the Discovery Channel. Casey pioneered a revolutionary vehicle that can actually be driven into a small tornado. It has taken him well over five years to get all the footage he needs and the film had finally made it's debut in March of this year.

I'm not sure what else we are going to do, probably get lunch some where, maybe take a stroll? Either way, I'm really excited about the movie and the science museum and spending time with my love.

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend! What are your plans?

10 Day You Challenge. {Nine Loves}

*(10) Secrets can be found here!*

Nine loves

 1. My fam{ily}. Through thick and thin they are always there for me. I couldn't do it without them. (I wish I had a picture of all four of us)

My Brother

Daddy and I
My mommy =)
2. My boyfriend Dan. Even though he can be the biggest pain in the butt sometimes, I still love him to death. We've been together roughly six years now. He's put with me through the worst and the best of times. We may not always agree but we love each other a lot. =)

3. My best friend Kelly. She may be a younging. (18) But, she is a lot more mature than 95% of people I know. Plus, I confide everything in her and she gives me great advice being eight years younger than me.

4. Mulligan. He may not be my dog by law, but he certainly has stolen my heart. I love our snuggle sessions the most.

"We almost there girlfriend?"
5. My car. I know, I know. It's silly. It's just big motorized slab of steel. But, Charlie (yes I named him!) has been of my favorite hobbies. He's almost three years old and if I told you how many miles I have on him, the majority of you would faint.

6. My xbox. Seriously, it is such a stress reliever. I barely play it in the summer because I'm always outside, but especially in the winter I have a loving relationship with it.

7. Fishing! I just recently started fishing and I'm addicted. I haven't caught that many but when I do, I'm elated. Maybe one day I'll get a big one. Just maybe.

8. The New York Yankees. I love, love, love baseball. I've been to two games this year already and am trying to convince boyfriend to go to one more. The Yankees have been in my life ever since I turned the tv on at the age of 9 and sat there staring at Wade Boggs in amazement. I've followed them ever since! Joba Chamberlain is my man. (regardless if he's out because he just had surgery on his arm)

9. Country music has been a big part of my life for the past six months. I've really fallen in love with the songs, the singers, the bands. I especially fancy Jason Aldean. ;)

Can't forget Brantley Gilbert either!

10 Day You Challenge. {10 Secrets}

First off, welcome back to my blog! It's so amazing to finally be back. Work had been crazy, along with a few personal issues but everything is now nicely sorted back to where it belongs. I've also been working out at the gym and that has given me some serious happiness and such.

The amazing Krystal over at Krystal's Kitch posted up this challenge and I just couldn't resist doing it!

  Ten Secrets
1. I am terrified of going into the medical field. I just finished up my EKG course in May and am about to (hopefully) start the Phlembotomy course in September. I'm just scared that one day I'll seriously eff up and do more harm than good.

2. This probably isn't much of a secret, but I hate peanut butter. I loathe it actually. I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups though. Yea, I have problems.

3.  I wish I was better at photographing. I love seeing pictures, reblogging pictures, and saving them for future use. It's kind of an obsession.

4. I have a Tumblr. But sorry guys, I'm not comfy giving it out. I don't have secrets on there or anything (honestly!) but I just enjoy keeping it seperate but pretty much everything else in the world. It's one of my escapes.

5. I hate driving to other states. I really am terrified of being out of state when driving. Flying I can do. I guess I just feel like CT is one big warm snuggly blanket and that if anything were to happen, it would be all right. The furthest I've driven is Ocean City, MD.

6. I beat up on myself a lot. I hate to say it, but over the past couple of months, I've been in a horrible negative downward sprial. I took a step back and realized there are so many other things in life that are ten times worse than the things I've been 'dealing' with.

7. I don't have many people in my life. I have Kelly and Dan (boyfriend) and that is it. I had my bff till she met a boy that pretty much changed her (and not in a good way I'm afraid.) I wasn't okay with this up until recently. I slowly realized that most of the people in my life previously, did not make me happy. They didn't accept me for me.

8. I cry when I'm alone. Yes, it's true if I'm alone for hours upon hours. This rarely happens, but when it does, I feel very unwanted. Boyfriend and Kel are going on vacation at the end of this month. Kelly's going to North Carolina and boyfriend is going to a work conference in Cali. I will be without either of them for five days. (kel's gone for 2 weeks!).

9. Unless you went to school with me, then you probably wouldn't know that I was seriously bullied. This is one of the secrets I hate talking about the most. I was constantly teased for my appreance in middle school pretty badly. I was teased in the almost all of my classes and on the bus. It continued into high school until I was a junior or so. Which is probably why I hate being alone so often.

10. Friday was the first time I ever spent a whole day out and alone. I went to the mall, to Target and to get my nails done. It was a very trying thing for me. I'm always afraid people are judging me. I feel like that's why I'm usually super negative or always attached to someone. But, I did it and now I don't feel as bad anymore. I went in thinking that it doesn't matter what people think and had a great time doing what I wanted for once.

On Things...

I know I've been MIA for while now, I promise you sometime in the near future I will truly be back. Life has just been a huge stressball. It keeps getting squeezed but nothing is helping.

The most current thing pertains to my job. I've been with my company for the past 3 1/2 yrs. Over the winter we got completely slammed with work. My job is to do estimates and pretty much everything else. We are on a program for Allstate insurance called Alacrity. They are very strict with time limits and things needed for the claim. I've tried my best to conquer the 60 or so estimates that have come in.

Today, before my boss left she came into my office and told me that we were off the program forever. She asked me repeatly if I have been doing the work. That is all I have been doing for the past 3 mnths. I have been trying so hard to catch up. She looked at me and told me we would be losing a lot of jobs. Then she told me that we would also lose a lot of money. This I know.

Immediately after she left I burst into tears. The first thing I thought of was being fired. All I could of is no matter how much I had tried, it didn't matter.

I somehow made it out to the lobby and told ny coworkers what had happened. They assured me I would not be fired. But still I do not believe them. I need this job. I need the money.

I really do love my job and the people I work with. I am behind and it is not completely my fault. In march or so the computer pretty much stopped working. Well the programs I needed did. I told my boss for mnths and she just kept telling me we didn't have money. Finally the problem was fixed but obviously I am still behind.

As well as doing Allstate, I also find and do the folders needed to pay our sub contractors. I pull
Photos off and email them. My boss knows I don't just do allstate. She knows that I do a lot but I still can't help feeling like she's blaming this all on me and soon I'll be out.

She honestly never asked me if I needed help even though I know she knew I did. She would do a little here and there and give the estimates right back to be completed. I'm so terrified that I may lose my job that my stomach is in knots.

I'm the only one besides my boss that works 5 days a week. I also answer the phones and do my coworkers job on Mondays because we are so 'slow' that she is able to work 4 days a week.

I am only one person and I can only do so much. I don't know. I really wish I knew the answer to all this. For now, it's just a wait and see game. :(

On Where I've Been...

Hello all. I must first apologize for my abscence. I missed all of you a lot. I missed reading your blogs and commenting. But, I'm back now. I have to tell you work has been overwhelming to say the least. It's just plain sucked. Lots of things have actually. But, as life goes, things are getting better! I am back! =D

This weekend is going to kick butt for many reasons. I am going shopping, fishing, to a graduation and to a  concert! Squeeeelll!

So this happy go luck kid, that I call my brother is graduating from college tomorrow morning! =O
In Cali on his 21st birthday last year.
Can someone pinch me or something?! My brother Kevin, is graduating from a CT college with a degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Math. (aka high school math teacher wannabeee). I am so proud of him. He worked his butt off. There were many a late nights doing homework and studying and now the day has finally come. He has also been applying for teaching positions around the state as well, and I really hope he gets something soon! Congrats to my wonderful, pain in the butt brother. =P You're gonna be a kick butt teacher. (also hes single ladies! lol)

I have also recently taken up fishing. Even bought myself a handy dandy license. =) So Kel & I go fishing just about everyday that it's warm/not raining/thunderstorming. (I know its not a word lol). So far we've caught four fish. Three sunfish and one large mouth bass.

Crescent Lake.
We found this little gem off a website. I had no idea where it even was; but with the help of my handy dandy iPhone, I was able to find it. It's tucked back amongst some rolling hills about a mile from a major interstate. It really feels like you're in a different world though and we loveee it! That floating dock right there is usually where you can find us.

And finally the thing I am most excited for (besides my bro graduating of course!) is that I am going to the first country concert of the year. I am excited to being going with my two lovely ladies to see.....

                                       JASON ALDEAN!!!

Ahhh! I am so so excited. He is headlining and Janedear Girls as well as Eric Church will be there. It's only my second country concert ever and I am excited. I just recently really got into country music and I cannot get enough of it. Slowly my playlist is converting to country. =D I'll explain all the country loving in a different post. Promise!

(Michelle we need to go to one of his concert's together! I know how much you adore him!!!)

So, that's pretty much my upcoming weekend. After this, it's gonna be a pretty quiet summer. Maybe a couple concerts, lots of fishing and lots of just chillen out. Hope everyone has a great weekend! I hope to get to reading and commenting on some of your posts soon! =D

I'm Back.

Needed a little time away from blogging, okay more like it was forced. This makes me a very sad panda. But hopefully I'll be able to post all about what's been going on lately and what lies ahead. All good, I promise. =)
