So...It's Been A While.

It's been a long time since I've actually been on blogger, my work computer does not like it anymore. But, I'm back...this time I promise!

This week was a pretty quiet one. I went hiking through the woods on Saturday with Kel.

Then it was off to see the preggo best friend for dessert. She's having a girl and her name will be Amelia May. I feel weird, but I was totally conversing with her inside the best friend's tummy about how her auntie is gonna spoil her...with Yankees stuff.

On Sunday, headed over to The Counter for lunch with my friends. It's a build-your-own burger place and it's soooo good. I got a weird kinda burger.

That's right, a chicken burger with cheese, mayo and hard-boiled eggs. It was really good though. I really want the bison burger, but last time I had that at Cabela's it didn't agree with my tummy.

Well I'm off to comment on your blogs and see what I missed, hopefully not too much.

What's your favorite fall trend?
Low boots? Tall boots? Heeled boots? Flat boots?

Fabulous Fall: Blog Challenge. {Fall Traditions}

Amber over at Brunch with Amber is heading up a blog challenge called Fabulous Fall!
Everyday starting today, she'll have a new topic to participate in for the next two weeks. Today's post is on Fall Traditions.

I absolutely love, love, love fall. I have a couple traditions that I love doing every year. They include corn mazes, pumpkin picking, apple picking and enjoying some Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Lattes!

Boyfriend and I love going to Lyman Orchards. They have a fantastic corn maze. Every year the picture changes. Last year it was designed to look like the UCONN girls' basketball coach. After you pay for your ticket into the maze and head down to it, you can select a question sheet from the different genres they have to help you get out of the maze. We love sports so that's what we've picked the last couple of years.

The answers have which direction to turn next to them. It's hilarious when we think we know the answer and turn the direction that it tells us too, only to come to a dead end. But it's great fun!

This year's corn maze is patriotic. It looks to be a doozy, but I can't wait to conquer it.

After the corn maze, we usually wander around for a bit and then head over to select our pumpkins. Then we head home to deseed them and carve them. I can't say I'm very good at that though.

Another thing that we love to do is pick apples. We head on over to Roger's Orchards in nearby Wolcott for this. (Lyman's is pretty far).

I'll be honest, we only started doing this last year, but what boyfriend doesn't know is this will def become a tradition. Last year, I made my first ever homemade apple pie and it was soo good.

And finally, I can't forget my love for Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte. We only have one Starbucks in town, so I don't frequent it a ton, but I loveeee it regardless. Actually, think I'm gonna get one tonight. =)

What are some of your fall traditions?
